RefWorks 2.0 Launch Coming this Fall

RefWorks is one of the three automated citation formatting tools recommended by the UI&U Library that helps our researchers gather, manage, and store research information such as footnotes and bibliographies.

On October 29th, RefWorks is launching a new interface called RefWorks 2.0. The new interface eliminates many of the current functionality issues, making it easier to organize and add citations to papers. We hope you will enjoy using the new interface and features as much as we have!

Preview RefWorks 2.0 (introductory RefWorks video)

Can I use RefWorks 2.0 before the official launch?
Sure! There is a link to RefWorks 2.0 the top, right-hand corner of the RefWorks login page.

What is the difference between RefWorks 2.0 and RefWorks Classic?
The main difference is aesthetic. Both interfaces have the same features, but RefWorks 2.0 is easier to navigate.

Can I continue to use RefWorks Classic?
RefWorks Classic will continue to be available through 2011. Starting in 2012, RefWorks Classic will no longer be available.

What tutorials and guides are available?

There are video tutorials and live webinars available to help you get started using RefWorks 2.0.

How can I find out more about the citation resources available through the UI&U Library?
Visit the bibliography & citation page or request a personal tour from a UI&U Librarian.
